Primarily self-taught, Judy Onofrio is a fanatic collector of objects and eccentricities. Her figurative sculptures encompass a narrative that is humorous and seductive, taking us to a fantastic place known as Judyland. The artist has exhibited her fanciful works in over a dozen museum exhibitions nationally and internationally including Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands, Algeria, Morocco, Pakistan and Egypt.
"My childhood mentor and role model was my Great-aunt Trude, an eccentric "outsider artist" who always worked beyond the confines of the mainstream art world. " -Judy Onofrio
