Kate Goodvin

Kate Goodvin is a multidisciplinary artist wh se work examines the transition from girlhood to womanhood in the twenty-first century. Drawing from her own coming-of-age experienc s, she explores themes of childhood innocence, adolescent turbulence, and personal growth. By combining screen printing with quilted textiles, Goodvin creates layered tapestries that feel both intimate and physically rich.

Goodvin earned her B.F.A. from the Maryland Institute College of Art and is currently pursuing her M.F.A. at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Her work has been exhibited nationally and internationally, including at the Aichi Prefectural Museum of Art in Japan and the Figge Art Museum.
