Employing the visual language of scientific objectivity, Briony Morrow-Cribbs explores connections between humans and animals. By placing creatures in psychologically complex situations, she invites the viewer to explore emotional nuances and relationships. A virtuoso of copperplate etching, Morrow-Cribbs uses an intricate system of dots, dashes, concentric lines and hand tinting to create highly detailed prints in the naturalist tradition.
