Craig Blietz returns to the East Gallery with a new series of work inspired by stories of an old creamery. His adroitly painted animals indirectly refer to the recently demolished creamery and, in a larger sense, the diminishing number of small dairy operations. Romantic, realistic, and oblique, Blietz’s paintings invite the viewer to reflect on our changing world.
