Inspired by his life in rural Wisconsin, Charles Munch’s paintings continue to be meditations on the complex relationship between humans, animals, and nature. Munch uses bold, graphic lines and careful compositions to evoke questions and suggest possible solutions. These deceptively simple landscapes envision a world where nature’s balance is restored.
