The Crocker Art Museum in Sacramento has acquired "A Twist of Fate," a large landscape by gallery artist Robert D. Cocke, for their permanent collection. The painting is an oil on canvas, completed in 2012, and measures 15 x 70 inches.
The Crocker, founded in 1885, is the oldest art museum west of the Mississippi River, and is renowned for its collection of West Coast art, among other strengths.
